We are currently looking for a Automation Software Engineer on a permanent basis for a company who manufactures and sells its high-end Industrial projects, globally. Have you got a minimum of 4 years’ experience working within a similar position with Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7, LADDER and SCL, and design and Implementation of HMI or SCADA based systems experience looking to work for a world leader in the design, engineering, and delivery of turnkey projects to the industrial Gases sector? Based near Godalming.
Essential Requirements / Experience:
Experience using Siemens TIA Portal and Step 7.
Previous experience programming using LADDER and SCL in a live production environment (2+ Years).
Experience with design and implementation of HMI or SCADA based systems.
Understand to good level using Python
Experience using SQLite / MSSQL Server
Willing to travel onsite (roughly once a month)

Be a key team member for engineering projects by defining the commercial, process and technical strategy for the project and preparing appropriate design and project documentation.
Help deliver multiple projects within budget and timescales.
Strict adherence to iProject and Planner business tools.
Technical authority (L5)- where applicable.
