NPI Quality Engineer:
We are looking for an experienced NPI Quality Engineer on a permanent basis for a company that has become one of the major Electronics Manufacturing Service Companies, looking to continue growing the company. They currently have 3 manufacturing facilities; this one being located near Reading.
NPI Quality Engineer
Essential Requirements / Experience:
3+ years of direct involvement in quality management in an industrial manufacturing and product development setting, preferably in the medical, automotive, aeronautics and/or space industry.
Knowledgeable regarding ISO9001 / ISO13485 / AS 9100 and other relevant standards.
Experienced in the application of quality tools essential to New Production Introduction - DFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plans
Hands on with product, process, people, and customer

Salary Package:
Competitive Annual Salary £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

NPI Quality Engineer
The Role:
Define KPIs for NPI activities and proactively manage performance gaps aligned to the company’s strategy
Work with stakeholders to ensure the QMS is accurate and adhered to in relation to New Products and Prototyping (with ATF16949 in mind for automotive standards)
Creating, executing, developing, reviewing, and reporting on products/process qualification testing
Project Manage the quality aspects to NPI and Prototype manufacture
Clear and concise reporting about all activities
Familiar with quality operations like PPAP, APQP and equivalent
