Design Engineer
Are you an experienced Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer with a good exposure the production, development and manufacturing process ? Do you have experience utilising a 3D CAD Package as well as an automotive, aerospace, motorsport or defence engineering background? Are you looking for an all-encompassing, challenging role for a global leader in their field during a very busy period with a busy order book?
If so, we are seeking a Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineers on permanent basis for a company that globally manufactures and supplies safety equipment to the defence and motor industry.
Design Engineer
The role
- The ability to produce bespoke detailed engineering drawings to customer specifications
- The ability to develop prototypes.
- Strong experience in BOM development
- quality and data sheet documentation as well as the ability to analyse and resolve design issues.

Salary Package
- Competitive annual salary circa £30,000 - £35,000 per annum – DOE
- Competitive Salary, pension scheme etc.
- Based near Coventry
Design Engineer
Essential Requirements / Experience:
- 4+ years relevant experience in design engineering
- Strong Autodesk inventor/CAD experience
- Exposure to Progress plus
- Exposure to CFD (not essential but favoured)
