Design Engineer
We are looking for a Design Engineer on a permanent basis for a company who are world leaders in the design and manufacture of machinery for several different industries. Have you got 5+ years’ experience working as a Design Engineer and experience with 3D CAD Packages? The company currently has circa 40 employees and are looking to keep growing with their strong order book, full into next year.

Essential Requirements / Experience:
Experience working within a Machinery, Equipment or a System environment
A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with a similar environment
Proficient using 3D CAD Package – ideally Inventor or SolidWorks

Salary Package:
Competitive Annual Salary - £32,000-£40,000 (DOE)

Design Engineer
The Role:
Interpret customer requirements on machinery and modification’s, translate these to 2D and 3D, working with 3D CAD modelling software, addressing any bespoke requirements.
Produce detailed component / assembly drawings with the ease of machine manufacturing in mind, providing advice to the Production Team where necessary.
Release BoMs through the MRP system liaising closely with the Procurement Department to ensure all components are delivered within necessary timescales.
Provide design support to the sales Department.
Assist the Design function in meeting its goals on product development and market diversification.
