Solidworks CAD Engineer
Are you an experienced SolidWorks CAD Engineer with a Pipework/general fabrication background? Do you have experience utilising a 3D CAD Package? Are you looking to join a medium sized, close-knit company that are going through a steady period of growth?
If so, I am looking for a SolidWorks CAD Engineer to take on role producing AutoCAD drawings and handle draughting issues on a permanent basis for a global design and manufacture of bespoke equipment for various industries, predominantly within the water waste to join their growing engineering department, based near Derby.

Essential Requirements / Experience:
- The successful candidates will have solid core Draughtman skills with proven experience in a Draughtsperson role (2 year minimum)
- Must be experienced in a 3D CAD Package
- This person will have experience within structural steelwork, support structures, access platforms and pipe support
- Experience with Pipework
- Exposure to casting, machining, fabrication, sheet metal also ideal but not essential
- Comfortable with in different weather conditions, i.e. wet, dry, cold, or noisy.
- Someone comfortable in high places.

SolidWorks CAD Engineer
The Role
- Design and development of new project designs for external clients from conception through to successful completion using SolidWorks/AutoCAD
- You will produce AutoCAD drawings
- Design components for customers to match installation
- Inspect completed component designs to meet standards
- Being accountable for ensuring any draughting issues are indicated and reported
- Visit and assist customer plants/ sites and equipment, and conduct assessments on the installation and existing site layout.
