Technical Design Manager

Are you an experienced Technical Design Manager looking for a new challenging and varied position on a permanent basis for a global engineering company who operate within the MEP market ? Are you competent with CAD and have experience with management of engineering teams? If so, we are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead a team of six design engineers.

Technical Design Manager
Essential Skills / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ideally with a CIBSE
• 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Solid technical expertise Cad/Solid works
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including strategic thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• A legal right to work in the UK.

• Perm: £70,000+ per annum based on experience

Technical Design Manager
The Role:

• You will be responsible for Planning and delivering all design and advisory to internal and external stakeholders.
• You will Provide leadership, governance, and direction to ensure employees are kept safe, engaged, focused, developed, and delivering to their potential.
• You will be incharge of Managing the technical resources within the Energy Division.
• You will contribute to the development of the Energy Division.
• You will Set and drive departmental KPI’s and challenge improvement.
